Oil on canvas - 12" X 12". This triptic had to somehow deal with time. In this case: the time it takes from jumping off the diving board to landing in the water. It can be vied in 2 ways. Either the figure is really a professional diver but as she jumps and is wishing and imagining that shes back home in her own lake, OR the figure is really swimming in a lake, and shes imagining that shes a professional diver and when she hits the water her fantasy is over and shes still just swimming in her lake. What do you think?
